You have a contract so to speak with your employer and an understanding with interviewers in the quest and hope of entering into a contractual obligation. You bring skills and qualifications to the job to provide value and hopefully profit of sorts to the firm or employer.

That is your obligation. If results occur and result then you have done your part and parts.
True there are the issues of morale at the workplace and for you not to cause trouble and cause reductions in workplace efficiency and workplace morale. This is one of the reasons for the mandatory provisions in labor law for a three month trial work period during which you can be let go.

Yet perhaps you overstate your qualifications – it has been known to occur by overzealous attendees in interviews. Yet if you provide spoken for planned results – then it may be said that you were overzealous and perhaps lied or overstated your qualifications. Yet if the employer gets the end results promised should he or she really be concerned ? Perhaps if a serious image or you are in a political with federal politics perhaps. Yet should of you hiding a past of being a serious axe murderer of repute – does it really matter and is it any of the business of your employer ?

At the worst it could be said that at least the women of the night are performing an important social function and have some value in life , and as well are performing an honest days work

Not so with most politicians ( especially the current crop) and most bosses or supervisors

It might be well said that America and American politicians are not involved in a true “democracy”
I voted Republican / Democrat because my father / pappy did is the  refrain of most

It can be said that the situation is not unlike that in a country town with two drugstores

Troublesome customers can go back and forth between the two establishments with their imagined woes

On top of that , when problems arise ( as they are bound to do in life) , the customer can go to the “other one” to come back later

Thus if problems do happen on the job , or in interactions the establishment / management is never held to task or asked to be truly accountable

And yet not only do most people survive on their jobsite – in spite of “management “  and “I am the boss “  syndrome

The amazing part is just like highly paid civil servants ( who are most cases are simply putting in time) , these authorities actually believe that

1) The world could certainly not survive without them and their input

2) Everyone else is a peon – and in the case of most civil servants – everyone else is a thief – who on top of it all are not worth their pay by any means

Yet how does a person cope – or even survive in a job that they do not like and perhaps even “hate”

Firstly focus on what you really want instead of daydreaming and working out in your mind’s eye of how much you want to escape or really not want to be in the “here and now”

No doubt about it you will have already established well that your job at present is not “where you really want to be”.  However where do you really want to be ? Plan your alternate road map and means of getting there. That should not be incredibly difficult.

Think back to that fateful job interview ( which was long tossed away once you were hired and became slave and victim # 1)

What are your strengths ?  What are your weaknesses  ?  Lastly the key “You look like a person to me that knows where they want to be !  Where do you want to be in 1 year , 2 years / 5 years ?”
Now those were your original plans .  Is it not time to refocus your efforts back to your game plan ?  Is this just not a temporary detour from your plans ?

Remember Einstein used a dull job as a Swiss patent clerk as the opportunity to be able to finish and polish his manuscript on the Theory of Relativity to good purpose.

Isn’t this such a similar , wonderful situation for you ?
In summary the glass can be half full or half empty depending on how you view it.  Simple as that.

There are simply those difficult do to say the least do not do what you want them to do – and to say the least you do not know what to do about them – to put it simply and mildly.

Turn the tables.  You do not have to be the victim anytime nor anymore. While you cannot change “difficult people” , as much as you wish and dream – in some manner you can get them out of their shell and somehow communicate with them.

Well perhaps. All in all it is a matter of knowing how to get under their skin , into their mind and mindset when they are behaving “badly”.
