Better yet your company issued Blackberry , iPhone or Android phone can serve as a handy yet you don’t have to conceal recording device.

After the event and your recovery from Planet Pluto , pour yourself a couple stiff single malt Scotch whiskey drinks . Take out that voice recorder , phone or mp3 player. Play the meeting back , parts and segments of it – or perhaps the little parts and segments of it that you feel that you can stomach. Is amazing isn’t it. How apparently logical people , hired for their intelligence are somehow treated to all of this and must succumb to this – even pretending that they are somehow grateful and privileged to be part of this wonderful exercise from the most gifted people on earth issuing dictates and illuminations of earth shattering knowledge.

As if to emphasize the work involved in creating the world, the second chapter of Genesis begins with God resting. “By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing so on the seventh day he rested from his work (Genesis 2:2).

The same people who beat you up in the sandbox when you were four years old are now in charge. Woody Allen said that “Those that don’t do teach those that cannot teach manage”.

What on earth can a manager teach an experienced employee who is on the front lines , is productive and has proven so by being gainfully employed a number of years by the firm or the specified industry.

Nothing more than self justification of insecure individuals to keep their so called perks and privileges. Perks can be defined as things given to management that in no way can be justified.
