An interesting case in point.  A still most avid go getter all his life senior citizen of 75 years of age recently had his 100 old mother in hospital.

First of all if not for the son the mother – an old “farm woman” who had worked with great responsibility and responsibilities in her life in the business world – when these “jobs were reserved for men only”  would of starved on the food rations and the plastic coverings over them in the hospital.

The “staff”  was just so efficient at removing trays with food, as per the system , like clockwork.

Had the son not been there – first of all the mother did not know how to take the protective (?) wrap off.  Second the food  it itself was in substandard starvation size – as per the “book ” and “manual”.   The mother  all her life had eaten great quantities of caloric intake and to this point had never been overweight or heavy in weight.  If not for the son – first to take the protective plastic wrapping off – the mother’s vision was not good,  and for the doting son to bring in her in many Mc Donalds hamburgers and fries – who knows what would of occured.

Yet the graphs and charts of acitivies and productivity on the “ward”  were always on the upswing.

Lord help us all.
