Important Point – "Always Mention the Reason" ( or Reasons)



An apparently most important point and concept that often gets forgotten or waylaid in the writing of these important “memos “  to the troops is to always explain and mention the reason or reasons for said memo.

This might be said it is akin to the victim of  a lynch mob being explained why he is hanging from the noose.  If it is readily apparent – good , if not the reason may be the event is occurring because their is no logical reason by any means , forms or rational explanation.   Yet the powers that be will go out of their way to make sense and rationality out an apparent non-rational even arbitrary choice or decision.  Ultimately it comes down to “It has been decided”

The example might be given of a test given in a standard form by a well known forensic psychologist.

The story is told and elaborated that at the  funeral of her mother a young lady meets a man of her dreams.  She has never met nor related to any person  by this means previously what so ever.  Two weeks later this young lady savagely murders her sister for no apparent reason.  What is the reason ?  Can you explain this – subjects being interviewed and assessed were asked.

The answer that those who were labelled psychopaths – indeed this may well be a very good test of  “management potential”  was that the girl killed her sister – because she knew at the funeral that she would meet that man or a similar personality yet again.

Somehow this makes great rational sense both in the mind of psycpaths  and past , present and future managers as well as those with “management potential”
